This is all the practical info you need about the retreat
For 6 nights you´ll stay at Naya Beach club Kissamos. This accomodation is located directly at the beach in a quiet environment for a peacefull stay. The people from Naya are happy to welcome you in this wonderfull place. There is a garden, a terrace, a bar and the rooms are spacy and well decorated. All rooms have a bathroom with hairdryer, airconditioning , a flat screen TV and a fridge. FREE WIFI. All rooms are groundfloor and have a terrace with seats . The big beds are very comfortable and there is an extra sofabed. The prices are based on a shared room. If you like to book a room for single use there is an extra fee of € 200,-
The group of participants will be small because of the limited number of rooms. This guarantees enough attention for everyone. But don’t wait too long to make your reservation!

Same room for single use : € 895,- per person
There is only 1 smaller shared room for 2 people who travel together for € 650,- per person
If you prefer this smaller room for single use the price will be € 850,-
To make your reservation: go to the webshop and pay your deposit .After your payment is received your spot is reserved. . Please send a message by the contactform with your name, adress and phonenumber. This deposit amount will not be refundable. The rest of the amount should be payed before April 1, 2020. Untill that date the costs for cancellation is € 350,- (your deposit) After April 1 the whole amount is charged if you cancel your trip.
The price is including:
- 6 nights staying at Naya beach Club, Kissamos, Crete
- 6 x breakfast - 6x diner with drinks -
- 1 excursion to Ravdoucha. We walk downhill to Ravdoucha beach ( about 50 minutes walk) During the walk we’ll be having stunning views over the Kissamos bay. At the beach you can relax, swim and shower. After swimming we’ll have a lovely lunch at Wave on the Rock. A taverna at the beach with a terrace under the trees. After that , we return by car to Ravdoucha where we’ll have a Yoga Nidra class at Villa Maria.
- 8 yoga classes in different styles like Hatha, Ashtanga and Yoga Nidra. The first lesson there will be time to explain the foundational poses and modifications. During the week there will be attention to different breathing technics . On Friday June 5 there is gonna be a full moon so we plan for a full moon yoga class at the beach. All classes are about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- 2 Pilates classes
Book a flight to Chania airport. The airport is about 45 minutes drive to Kissamos. ATTENTION: DO NOT fly to Heraklion. That is about 2,5 hours drive to Kissamos (unless you don’t mind of course).
If you are interested in Car rental we have good experience with `Hermes Rent a Car`in Kissamos. They offer good prices and service. They are offering you the following options :
You can choose:
1 You rent a car and you can pick it up at Chania airport. You can drive to Kissamos yourself.
2. You rent a car at Hermes and they pick you up at Chania airport, they drive you to Kissamos to the car rental where you get your car and go to Naya.

If you need a transfer from Chania airport to Kissamos we can make arrangements for you by a compensation for the costs.
At Naya there is enough parking space. The center of Kissamos is about 1,5 kilometers where the shops and many restaurants are. Also ATM and postoffice.
The appartments at Naya are only a few steps away from the beach en belong tot he beachclub where you can use the beds and hammocks at the beach for free. There is a garden where we meet and practise Yoga. There will also be classes at the beach where we can enjoy a wonderfull sunset at night.
The breakfast and dinner will be joined together with the group members. The food is various, fresh and healthy. In the Greek kitchen they use lots of fresh and local ingredients. Daily there wil be a variety of salads, greens, different Greek traditional dishes and dessert. During dinner the drinks (water, wine, refreshments) are included.
The schedule for the whole week with times of Yoga and Pilates classes, meals and excursion you will receive before the week starts by email. For variation, not every day has the same schedule. On the bottom of this page you can download an example of the schedule, you can see how the week is planned.
There will be enough space in the schedule to enjoy free time to spend as you wish. Relax at the beach, visit Kissamos or other places. Of course you are free to follow your own rythm and if you like to skip a class or a meal that is no problem. But please give notice about it in advance so we don’t wait for you.
There can be no refund for skipped meals or classes.
All levels are welcome. There will be enough attention and challenge for everyone. Classes will be in English or Dutch (depends on the language of the participants)
HATHA YOGA : This is the most basic form of Yoga. Out of the Hatha style are many other styles developped during the years. You get introduced to all the basic asana’s , sunsalutation and how to use your breath in an optimal way. Every class ends with a relaxation for optimal rest for body and mind.
ASHATANGA YOGA (or Power Yoga): this Yoga is done by the original Ashtanga series. The poses follow eachother up and you go from one to another pose by Vinyasa movings. Your body temperature increases. And when your muscles warm up it become easier to stay in the poses. It’s a challinging class.
FULL MOON YOGA: During the full moon the energy of the moon is very strong. Many people notice this by being restless and not sleeping well. You learn how to use this strong energy in a positive way and have a wonderfull experience to practise Yoga at the beach at full moon together with the group.
PILATES : Is founded and developed last century by Joseph Pilates. It developes a strong core (deeper muscles) . A strong core has many health benefits and this training is a good combination with Yoga practise. At Yoga the spine longues so there is more space to move. With Pilates excercises , the muscles surrounding the spine become stronger . This improves the posture and can prevent back problems. During Pilates class there is also attention to the breathing techniques which has a calming effect to he mind. Meanwhile the training is pretty intens for your body.

-transfer from and to the airport
-lunch and consumptions you order at Naya yourself during the day (except the Lunch at the excursion to Ravdoucha which is included)
