Many possibilities offered for you in the new schedule to practice Yoga and/or Pilates in Kissamos. I am very happy I am able to welcome so much more people and let you experience Yoga and Pilates in different forms. Every day is different, everybody is different and you can choose a class that fits you best. I am sure that whatever class you choose, you will never be bored and you will always be challenged to move your body in all directions to find out that you can do so much more than you think. My goal is to make you feel better about yourself. 

There are yogamats available but if you have your own, you can bring it. Wear comfortable clothes to move easily ( like leggings or yogapants) And bring some water. Both Yoga and Pilates is best to do on bare feet. So please leave your shoes at the door or on the side of the class. To not get distracted, switch of your phone or leave it at home. !! Give yourself some offline time during classes. Please be aware how distracting phone noises are for the other students and for the teacher. For that reason working phones are not allowed in the studio.

 Classes:

 All classes are accesable for every level. There will always be options offered to slow down or give it some extra. Depending on how you are feeling and where you want to start your practise you can choose a class that fits you best. The pase and dynamics may vary per class

 Pilates Basic

If you are new to Pilates or it may be a while ago since you have practiced, in this class you can give yourself some time to get used to the specific pilates excersises. In this class we take time to get used to the Pilates breathing and the engagement of the core muscles and the pelvic floor to get the most benefit of the movement.

Hatha Yoga

The basic form of Yoga. 

Pilates

In this classes you get challenged to move and use the core muscles sitting on your mat or laying down with the help of some props (like blocks, ball or belt)  Your balance and mobility will improve.

Vinyasa

Move on the breath in a constant flow.

Ashtanga Yoga 

It is also known as Power Yoga. Ashtanga Yoga is a serie of excersices performed in Vinyasa style. The original series (there are 6) is built up by K. Pattabhi Jois. It is based from the Hatha Yoga. So many of the asana´s can be already familiair for you, now we practise it in a constant stream. We start with parts of the 1st serie . The warming up consists of Sunsalutation A+B.  Because you are moving intense your body is warming up. And for the whole class you stay in this warm temperature to make your muscles warm and move easily.  Like in the traditional Ashtanga Yoga we will work with the Ujjayi breathing technique (oceanbreath) The features for ashtanga are power , discipline and endurance. So if you like to move intensive and want to bring your yoga practice to the next level; Ashtanga is definitely your new challenge.  During wintertime we will start this classes on wednesday morning. First class January 7 2026
